Cyntra

Cyntra began with an interest in science fiction and the way familiar things can take on an unfamiliar character. That idea runs through its reverse contrast construction, where fine vertical strokes meet emphatic horizontals. The result is a display typeface with an unexpected rhythm: recognisable letterforms that give words a distinctly different silhouette.

Across six weights, Cyntra moves from delicate, open forms to dense, assertive shapes. Matching obliques add movement, while thirteen stylistic sets offer alternative capitals and lowercase letters, allowing individual words to shift in tone. These variations give designers room to explore a title, refine a wordmark or build a typographic identity.
